Ok, so I was humbled yesterday by the good ol’ SNATCH. I knew going into this workout that it was a weakness of mine, maybe that is why I was so nervous. (another reason I love CF) Anyways, as I pushed through the workout, getting more and more frustrated with my weakness I came to a ahhhhaaa moment. Right then and there I realized that I needed a goal for the summer, something to drive my training. My goal is to improve in the SNATCH, enough to snatch my bodyweight (currently 190ish). I know that this is a lofty goal, going to require lots of hard work, frustration and probably many failures. Oh well, life is not paved on even ground, free of obstacles and potholes. BABBLE, BABBLE, what am I getting at.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH THIS SUMMER (JUNE – SEPT)?
I WOULD LIKE ALL ATHLETES TO COME UP WITH A GOAL FOR THE SUMMER. MAKE THIS GOAL A CHALLENGE, SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO REQUIRE A LITTLE SWEAT AND DISCOMFORT. NEXT TIME THAT YOU SEE ME, TELL ME YOUR GOAL AND I AM GOING TO PUT IT ON THE GOAL BOARD (I WILL WRITE IT DOWN, OCD KICKING IN).
THEN WE WILL GO AFTER THOSE GOALS WITH EVERYTHING THAT WE HAVE. THERE IS NO PRIZE, LITTLE RECOGNITION, JUST THE GOOD OLE IDEA THAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING.

CONTINUE ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH THEIR GOALS, CHANGING LIVES
BECOME A BETTER TRAINING FACILITY… LEARN FROM EVERYONE
MOVE INTO A NEW AND IMPROVE TRAINING ENVIRONMENT…. MY HEAD IS SPINNING WITH IDEAS
