With every Memorial Day, we pay our respects to the soldiers, police officers, firemen, and others who protect and serve us who have been lost in action. So come out tomorrow morning and let’s tackle the WOD with an all out effort in their honor.

Remember there is only one class at 9 a.m. today

MURPH

  • Run 1 Mile
  • 100 Pull Ups
  • 200 Push Ups
  • 300 Squats
  • Run 1 Mile

*The pull ups, push ups, and squats may be partitioned any way you want, but you must begin and end with a mile run.

  1. It was great to see such a large turnout at the BARN today, even when everybody knew what was coming. As Mr. Giulitto said to me, “Way to grab it by the nuts!” Great job today, everybody.

I knew from that very first round that that weight vest was going to be the death of me. But thanks to Chris O. and Craig for helping me get through that last run.

  2. You’re more of a man than I am, brother Kyle, for using that vest! It would have been the death of me. Now that I think of it, even WITHOUT a vest this Murph was almost the death of me. Not thrilled about my performance. I was like 5 minutes over my last time. It was just so freaking humid! And THAT just made my “most enjoyed” activity – running – even more wonderful.

I agree, though. It was completely awesome that we had such a huge turnout! Great work by everybody! Way to gut it out and finish it up! :w00t:

Last thing: Congrats to David B. for making the pukie list on our kick-off WOD for the summer! Ya done us proud!

  3. Today was inspirational and just amazing. There are plenty of reasons that I love CF, but the biggest one is the community. I don’t have an exact number, but it had to be at least 30. These athletes didn’t just take a day off. They woke early and kicked their own asses. Great work by everyone, from experienced to newbies.

Personally not a PR, but who gives a crap. We came in knowing that this was going to suck, it did, but it didn’t stop any off us. CrossFit athletes honor those men and women in our own way, man what a great day.

  4. Great session Monday. cut 17 min. off my time

    What a team effort
